My last visit to Buttertubs Marsh was last February 2025 – a winter marshland.
I’d seen photos of Buttertubs that boasted lots of turtles were now out of hibernation, and so Trudie and I decided to heard over and see if we could find them.
April 24th was a gorgeous, warm, sunny day. Here are my photos of our afternoon in the Nanaimo marshland. There was only one turtle – and since I did not have my 300 mm lens with me I do not have a photo of a turtle. Next time.
