Yesterday Trudie and I furthered our quest for the herring spawn. Our drive took us out to Comox where we had heard that there were sea lion sightings on a couple of the beaches. We found sea lions, gulls, ducks, and eagles – a whale watching boat – a BC Ferry – cats – and…

As we drove on (Hwy 19A) Trudie decided to check out Deep Bay – she gets notifications from a Facebook Group in Comox that sends out messages when there are wildlife sightings – and she had just heard that there were sea lions on the beach in Deep Bay.
