HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT
Our first road trip – and a shared passion for photography and love of life.

Hi! I am Cindy and I am so thrilled to even think that this new found opportunity to share my adventures and my pictures with you gives me goose bumps! And I am so excited to share this experience with my friend, Trudie — who is a seasoned photographer with tons of life experience and travels to faraway lands under her belt. She is my friend, mentor, and new travel pal.
Photographers on Board started as just a joke as we cruised in her car on our first of many photography road trips along the west coast of our native Vancouver Island, B.C. If you have ever traveled with a photographer you may know what I mean when I say our trip was slower than most speed demons on the highway, as we noticed every sparkle of water, mossy stump, heavenly waterfall…hence the joke that perhaps we should let other drivers know to pass us, by having one of those signs in the window – BABY ON BOARD – but rather – PHOTOGRAPHERS ON BOARD!
As we did our circle route of the west coast Vancouver Island, from Nanaimo to Port Renfrew via highway 14 at Lake Cowichan we made a few stops to take photos and plan this new blog.
As we begin this new blog we may be a bit slow in initially in getting our posts out and the photos out – so keep checking back – or better yet, subscribe and follow us!
